2007 NFL Week 11
Sunday November 18, 2007
New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans
Eddie – SAINTS
Don’t let the Saints loss last week to the Rams scare you. The Rams were destined to win that game. They were several weeks past due for an offensive explosion. Yes, the Texans do get Schaub and A.J. back put they’ll need a game to get back into a rhythm.
Fred – TEXANS
Schaub and AJ are back…they put on a show for the home crowd.
Arizona Cardinals at Cincinnati Bengals
Eddie – BENGALS
This should be an offensive game so expect good fantasy numbers to come. The Bengals at home get the nod for this one.
Fred – BENGALS
Bengals outscore the Cardinals, but it’s a close one.
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
Eddie – RAVENS
They say Hell has no fury like a woman scorned, but neither does a defense that has something to prove. Browns: you are officially on notice.
Fred – BROWNS
Derek Anderson throws for 350+ yards and gets the “W”.
Kansas City Chiefs at Indianapolis Colts
Eddie – COLTS
Okay… so last week I was wrong when I chose to use the words “When was the last time the Colts lost two in a row” but really.. “When was the last time the Colts lost three in a row”
Fred – COLTS
Even with all of the injuries, Indy is still a top 5 team in the league.
Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings
Eddie – VIKINGS
Battle of the no-offense teams… this should be fun.
Fred – VIKINGS
Daunte’s back and so are more losses for Da Raiderssss.
Miami Dolphins at Philadelphia Eagles
Eddie – EAGLES
How nice – We welcome Beck to the NFL with an “L” for his first career start.
Fred – EAGLES
Philly blows out Miami and people start talking about them making the playoffs.
Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers
Eddie – PACKERS
Favre’s first game as a Packer was against Vinny T. How funny they should meet up again so many years later.
Fred – PACKERS
Best team in the NFC crushes the Vinny and the Je…oops…I mean Panthers.
New York Giants at Detroit Lions
Eddie – GIANTS
I think after this game we are going to feel sorry for Kitna as he is going to take a beating.
Fred – LIONS
Negative team rushing yardage last week for the Lions means Mike Martz didn’t get any sleep this week. He puts together an offensive scheme that makes all Lions offensive players fantasy football owners get together and build a shrine for him. Upset #1!
San Diego Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Eddie – JAGUARS
Watch out NFL. Nobody is talking about the team we should be. Jags pounce on the Bolts.
Fred – CHARGERS
The Jekyll and Hyde Chargers offense turns comes back to life and lights up the Jags defense. Upset #2!
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons
Eddie – FALCONS
Bor……………ing
Fred – BUCCANEERS
Coming off a bye week, a fresh Bucs team crushes the lowly Falcons
Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Jets
Eddie – STEELERS
A lot of people are calling this the upset of the week. Not this week Jets fans.
Fred – JETS
Upset #3! Jets are also fresh off a bye week. Man-genius has two weeks to prepare, and with the long arm of Clemens, finds a way to beat the Steelers.
Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks
Eddie – SEAHAWKS
Grossman – 3 interceptions and 1 fumble loss. Griese – 2 interceptions. Seahawks lose 24-13. Fast forward to next year. Chicago welcomes McNabb.
Fred – BEARS
Sexy Rexy is back at QB, so more long bombs for TDs. Upset #4!
St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Eddie - RAMS
Can the Rams make it two in a row? You bet your Stephen Jackson they can.
Fred - RAMS
Dilhole at QB again!?!?!? Niners offense stinks.
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys
Eddie - REDSKINS
UPSET ALERT!!!!
Fred - COWBOYS
The 2nd best team in the NFC destroys the hapless Skins.
New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
Eddie - PATRIOTS
What a surprise.
Fred - PATRIOTS
Since these guys are looking like they’ll be going 16-0 this year, you have to pick them.
Monday November 19, 2007
Tennessee Titans at Denver Broncos
Eddie – BRONCOS
Mile High on a Monday night. Sorry Vince Young – you don’t stand a chance.
Fred – TITANS
As stated in previous weeks, Vince Young = Win. Upset #5!
