Week 8 Picks

Arizona at Dallas
The Cardinals and McCown look will look for the win after serving their bye but the Cowboys will look to rebound after a very disappointing lost last week. Look for Marion Barber to have a good game and another 100yd receiving game from Fitz. However I think the Cowboys will blow this one away in front of their home crowd
My Pick - Cowboys

Chicago at Detroit
Detriot looked horrible against the Browns last week as did the Bears against Baltimore. This has all the ingredients to be a boring game. A rookie QB and a has been QB with talent that doesn't know how to be used. Most of the time you'd give the home team the nod but I think the Bears will win.
My Pick - Bears

Cleveland at Houston
Well I guess if we are going to have some horrible games we might as well put them all in on one Sunday. Cleveland might as well be winless and well.. The Texans are. I think Houston's offense is better and they are home.
My Pick - Texans

Green Bay at Bengals
Cincinnati had it rought against the Steelers last week but they'll have the red carpet against the Packers. Green Bay as a team might as well be on the IR. Favre will be 1-6 for the first time in his career after this week.
My Pick - Bengals

Jacksonville at St Louis
The Rams have a chance to go into the bye week with a 500 record but first they have to stop the Jaguars. The elite WRs of the Rams might make an appearance but Bulger will still be out. Jacksonville is tough but I think the rams will pull out a must needed win.
My Pick - Rams

Miami at New Orleans
You mean.. Miami at Baton Rouge the old home of the Dolphin's rookie coach. Coach Saban has had proven success in Baton Rouge but it was under LSU and not the pro team Dolphins. Same game different atmosphere. Gus's numbers have slowly declined while definitely not meeting expectations. The Duece is out for the season for the Saints and Joe Horn has a nagging hammy. I think we'll see Ricky Williams of the old this week giving the Dolphins a road victory.
My Pick - Miami

Minnesota at Carolina
Can the Vikings win two in a row? Can Daunte have another decent week? Is Carolina as good as they appear? Lots of questions I feel will be answered this week but I'll go ahead and answer on of them for you. Yes.. The Panthers are as good as they appear.
My Pick - Carolina

Oakland at Tennessee
When these two teams meet it normally means an offensive all you can eat buffett. Titan fans would probably actually like to see Volek at the wheel because he's posted VERY good numbers against Oaktown. But the Titans will have to stop Lamont Jordan and then stop Randy Moss. I just don't see that happening. The Raiders will win in a high scoring affair.
My Pick - Raiders

Washington at Giants
This is a game I'd rather not pick. I'm still not convinced fully of either team. The Giants shouldn't have won last week and Washington can only beat weaker teams. I think the Giants will be playing an emotional game via the death of Wellingon Mara. Giants will win.
My Pick - Giants

K.C. at San Diego
Look out Chiefs. Tomlinson has a lot of running to do since he wasn't able to do it last week. This is actually the game of the week for me. We've got probably the two best running backs of the NFL (Holmes and LaDanian) and the two best tight ends (Gates and Gonzalez). The way I figure… you'll see two rushing touchdowns by each back and one receiving touchdown for each tight end. This will be a high scoring game.
My Pick - Chargers

Philadelphia at Denver
Denver had an embarrasing lost to the Giants after being up 17-0. The Eagles offense has been MIA. Has anyone seen T.O.? I think he'll make an apperance at Mile High.
My Pick - Eagles

Tampa Bay at San Francisco
The Cadilac is fresh with dice in the mirror. Without having the stats in front of me I think the 49ers are almost last in the league against the rush. Buckle your belts cause Williams will rush for 200+ yds.
My Pick - Tampa Bay

Buffalo at New England
Brady is having one of his best seaons so far but it's just not showing in the teams record. Their defense gets a spiritual lift with the return of Teddy but it's really not needed as the Patriots will win convincly against the Bills.
My Pick - Patriots

MNF
Baltimore at Pittsburgh

It ain't gonna be right to be Wright this week. Big Ben and the Stealers will roll over the Ravens in an easy win.
My pick - Pittsburgh

12-2 - Not bad for week 7

I just wanted to make a midweek appearance to note this as my best week for the 05 season. Next week I plan to make it 14-0. Stay tuned for my week 8 picks...................

Wish Me Luck

Week 7 Picks

Week 6 .. 11-14. Not bad. Some of those losing should have won *cough*Pittsburgh*cough

But all in all.. not a bad week.

This week should be better. I've got it this week. 14 for 14. I'm calling it.

Friday Night Game between the Chiefs and Dolphins will kickoff in 15 minutes so I'm making these picks quick.

Chiefs at Dolphins
Tough game to call because of the emerging Dolphins but Priest and Co. are hard to beat. Green light is Chiefs

GB at Vikings
Favre plays horrible in domes and the vikings are horrible this year. Who wants this game more? Favre. Who will lose this game. GB. Vikings at home

Saints at Rams
Stephen Jackson will run all over the Saints. No brainer. Go with Rams

SD at Philly
We already know SD will score at least a rushing TD via L.T. so can Philly stop everything after that? Statisticly Philly is horrible after a bye but I'm still going with the Eagles.

Colts at Houston
Houston 0-5 Colts 5-0
Ummm... Colts?

Pittsburgh at Bengals
Big Ben nor Palmer has thrown an INT in their last 4 starts. Both defenses have been playing like superbowl champs. Normally the home team would get the advantage because of that but I'm still going with Pittsburgh.

Detroit at Cleveland
The Dog Pound has been a home for cats lately. Cleveland in the first half of last weeks game had around 85 total yds on offense. The Lions will come in possibly with Garcia and give the Browns another loss at home. Woah are the Browns.. Woah are the Browns. Detroit wins.

San Fran at Washington
Here you go this should make the Redskins fans happy to see this. I'm picking Washington. I think they are for real this year especially if the play the 49ers every game til the end of the season.

Dallas at Seattle
Seattle is going to the Superbowl. That's right.. you've heard it here first. Seattle will win easily of the boys.

Baltimore at Chicago
Heads = Baltimore Chicago = Tails Now flip coin. It landed on heads.

Denver at NYG
Woah.. it's good to see Plummer come out of his shell. Just in time for the G-men. Broncos will win and hopefully put Eli back down on this place we all walk on.. Earth.

Buffalo at Oak
Would you pick Oakland without Randy Moss who's team is playing a new 2-0 QB. I would. Raiders need a win and they'll get it.

Tenn at Arizona
I never thought I'd pick the Cardinals over the Titans but McCown will throw the ball all day long. I see a high scoring game with Arizona coming out on top.

MNF
NYJ at ATL
Vick is back. Vinny is playing. This should be good. ***crickets***crickets***
Easy win for the Falcons.

Week 6 Picks

Week 6 Picks

Maybe I should have thought about making my picks public. I can't seem to break the 50% margin now. I have decided to erase week 5 out of memory. This week will be the breakout for public appearance.

Falcons at Saints
Duece is gone for the N.O. so that means the Smith will try to have to break the wall of the Falcons D. It doesn't matter if Vick starts or not. Falcons will win this one easily.

Browns at Ravens
Ravens got embarrassed last week and the Browns beat a weak Chicago. I don't think either will happen again so go with the Ravens.

Vikings at Bears
Marco... Polo... Marco... Polo... Marco... Polo... Simon says go with the Vikings.

Dolphins at Bucs
Both playing at a higher level than last year improving on both offense on defense. I think this is one of the harder picks of the week. Bucs get the nod at home.

Panthers at Lions
In the Jungle the Lions are the kings but not in the NFL. Lions got an lucky victory last week but they'll earn the loss this week. Panthers by a couple of touchdowns.

Jaguars at Steelers
Big Ben or Maddox? Who will start this week? I don't think it matters as the Bus and Fast Willie run over and through the Jags while carrying the V on their shoulders. Steelers.

Bengals at Titans
The Titans secondary can't stay together like ice cream can't survive in the sun. Add that to Carson's 11 touchdowns on the season and you get a win for the Bengals.

Giants at Cowboys
Yes the Giants have been playing very good but so have the Boys of Dallas. Homefield advantage will play a role in this series. So this game go with Dallas at home.

Redskins at Chiefs
I'm still not fully sold on the Skins new and improved play. Plus the go into the hardest stadium to play at: Arrowhead!! Praying to the Priest won't help this time skins fans. Chiefs will win this one big.

Pats at Broncos
Yes I admit that I'm a Denver fan but I'm still shocked they are 4-1. Who is winning these games for them? It sure isn't Plummer. Bailey is still hurt which means the two rookies will be starting again for the Denver secondary. That means the long ball will be in effect for Brady. I'm going with the Pats.

Jets at Bills
Not much to say about this game. Can Vinny be the Hero? Can Holcomb get it done? A lot of unanswered questions. Stay safe with the Bills.

Chargers at Raiders
Does anyone out there really think the Raiders can stop the highpowered offense that the Chargers bring to the table? LT will get his record 18th straight game with a rushing touchdown and the Chargers will win.

Texans at Seahawks
Seahawks lose their 1 and 2 WR but it didnt stop them. Joe J came out like a terror. Texans have no chance. They'll be winless in Seattle.

MNF
Rams at Colts
Colts D is averaging less than 6 points allowed for opposing teams. The Rams have one of the highest powered offenses of the game. Something has to give and I think it will be the Colts D. However the Rams won't be able to win in Indy. Colts remain undefeated.

Week 5 Picks

Going into week 4 I thought for sure I had all winning picks. But after watching Seattle blow it with a missed field goal and the Chiefs blowing a HUGE lead I knew I was in for a long Sunday. But I did manage to pull of 9 out of 14 wins but I expected to do much better.

Week 5 compared to week 4 doesn't seem any easier.

Ravens at Lions
Both of these offenses look suspect so I'm going with the better defense squad. I'm going with the Ravens.

Tampa Bay at Jets
Vinny.. Vinny.. Vinny.. From the couch at home to the field in N.Y. Welcome back to the NFL and a 0-1 start. Tampa Bay remains undefeated.

Dolphins at Bills
Buffalo is ranked 2nd to last in total offense and 5th from the bottom on defense. Goodbye "Lost"man hello Holcomb. Hey Holcomb you wanna ask Vinny to save you a seat on the 0-1 couch? Dolphins.

Titans at Texans
Here is my upset of the day in the game feating the bottom of the barrels in the AFC South. Go Houston.

Bears at Browns
Cleveland is 1-2 and at the bottom of their division. Chicago is 1-2 and at the top of their division. Talk about a bizzaro world. You wanna know a bizzaro world.. I'm actually going to pick the Browns.

Patriots at Falcons
Week 4 Daunte gets sacked 9 times by the Atlanta D. Week 5 Brady gets sacked ___ times by the Atlanta D. Anyone wanna guess? Patriots lose 2 straight for the first time in years. Falcons at home.

Saints at Packers
Congrats Favre the losing streek is over. If you can't beat the Saints it's time to find another team. Packers.

Seahawks at Rams
Two of Seattle's best WRs will probably not play in St Louis. That makes Alexander a target. Rams at home.

Colts at 49ers
Who's going to stop the best team in the NFL. It won't be the 49ers. Alex Smith gets his first NFL start this week. Against the Colts!!! Colts = 5-0

Redskins at Broncos
It's time for the fairy tale to end and what a better place for it to stop... IN DENVER!! A very good D vs a not so good O. Easy pick. Broncos.

Panthers at Cardinals
Hey McCown this isn't Mexico City and this isn't the 49ers. Welcome back to reality. Panthers.

Eagles at Cowboys
T-O and D-Nab are both hurt and Akers can't kick. But somehow they play like nothing is wrong. The Ws continue for the Eagles in Week 5.

Bengals at Jaguars
Bengals 4-1 is still pretty impressive. Bengals 5-0?? Somebody wake me up because I'm dreaming. Jacksonville gets the nod.

MNF
Steelers at San Diego
The Chargers are definitely hot but right now Pittsburgh is the team to beat. The bus and Staley will probably get introduced back into the offense this week so I expect a high scoring game with Pitt getting the win.

Week 4 Picks

Well here it is... my first ever public picks. Best of luck to everyone out in the football world.

Detroit at Tampa Bay
How can you go against a team that is hot, undefeated and drives a "Cadillac". The Lions Offense is in the den right now so I'm going with Tampa Bay.

Colts at Titans
This will be the game Peyton and company actually shows up. Good thing the Colts D improved during the off-season or they would 0-3. I'm going with the Colts on the road.

Bills at Saints
Wow... here is a good game. Saints play at home in San Antonio and just might find another "emotional" win. Deuce gets Loose so I'm going with the Saints.

Rams at Giants
Where is Stephen Jackson and Bulger been hiding? If they can quit playing hide and seek they might find a win in NY. Eli appears to be playing well but I still think he is overrated. Rams.

Seahawks at Redskins
Washington just might be worst 2-0 team and the Seahawks can't play on the road. The Skins D could stop a truck but S. Alexander is a train. Factor in Hasselbeck and the WRs the answer equals win for Seattle in DC.

Chargers at Patriots
So LT is a beast and the Brees is cool in Sunny San Diego. But we aren't in Californ-i-a.. We are in Boston for a tea party with the Pats. New England always finds a way to win so until they prove they can lose I'm going with the Pats.

Broncos at Jacksonville
Plummer appeared to be plummeting until that impressive win last week. I believe they'll carry this victory into Jacksonville and take it back to Denver with them. The Jags are impressive but the Shannahans will win. My pick = Broncos.

POTENTIAL UPSET
Texans at Bengals
Yes Carlson Palmer so far is proving he is the real deal. Chad Johnson has been backing up his talk and the Bengals D has been taking out the trash. But the Texans offense will look like a new team this week because of the newly acquired offensive coordinator. A 0-3 team like Houston will play for nothing to lose. Too many mistakes by the Bengals and the lossless streak will be over. However I don't see them making many mistakes so I'm going with Cincy at home.

Jets at Ravens
Here is game that is featuring the battle of the non-starting QBs. Which one is better? A. Wright of the Ravens of course. I'm sticking with the home team again: Ravens.

Philadelphia at Chiefs
The Chiefs got embarrassed last week and will be playing with something to prove. D-Nab is hurt regardless of what he says. Can he have another 300+ yard game while playing hurt? I think not. Home team gets the nod again. Chiefs.

Vikings at Falcons
Falcons need to keep up with the Bucs at the Bay. Atlanta has Vick and they are home. Dante is good but not good enough to keep Atlanta from winning.

Cowboys at Raiders
0-3 = Raiders but not after week 4. Raiders and the crazy Moss will win their first game of the 05 season this week. Raiders.

49ers at Arizona
Well not really. The NFL will be playing its first regular season game outside the US this week. The host: Mexico. Warner is hurt not like this is a factor but he is the best Arizona has. Probably just as talented in WRs as Detroit the Cards will lose in Mexico to the 49ers and Rattay.

Monday Night Football
Packers at Carolina
Sorry Cheese Fans Favre will go 0-4 this week. Carolina with the win at Del"homme"
